Rehabilitating a Water Well, Air Lift Service Call
Air lifting a well, clearing out sediment, debris and contaminants.
This is a common service call that I’m happy to do, though they can get a bit mucky. I’m “air lifting” a water well to purge it of sediment and debris that builds up over time.
Any given well can become clogged and sometimes contaminated. If your well doesn’t seem to be producing like it used to, that’s often the reason. I perform this air-lifting service as needed or as part of a routine maintenance schedule for regular customers.
The process can be done in less than a day. I send a high pressure burst of compressed air down the line which will forcefully lift all water and sediment up and out. Then the well is left to rest and recharge and the process is repeated. It’s done several several times over a few hours, but for this video it’s just the fun parts and gave me a chance to try out my new drone. Pardon the wobbly camera work!
